Designed for closed-course competition circuits only, this exhaust is assembled using race-proven materials. The exquisite carbon-fibre muffler outer sleeve, end cap, and heatshield and the high-grade stainless-steel inner structure and link pipe produce a weight saving of 2.9 kg over the standard stock system. During the development phase, Akrapovič engineers focused on throttle response, rideability, and enhanced performance. Power gains have been achieved in the mid and high rev range, with a rise in power of 5.9 kW (8.0 hp) at 13,700 rpm and a torque increase of 5.0 Nm at 6,400 rpm when compared to a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R equipped with a standard stock exhaust and tested on the Akrapovič dyno. The exhaust produces a vivid racing tone and is a plug-and-play fitment, with no remapping needed.

Options include a carbon-fibre muffler bracket and a link pipe for further performance upgrade.
